Maine Woods Discovery is a new approach to rural tourism development that includes large scale businesses and small scale service providers teaming up to offer visitors high quality opportunities to experience the region’s natural destinations, authentic cultural traditions, and distinctive local products. Participating hosts meet high quality customer service standards and agree to cross-market the packages through their own websites and promotional materials.
